Micellar Rosewater & Dead Sea Minerals Mask

Beautyhaven.ca recently sent me a couple of products to try, one of which is the Micellar Rosewater, and the other is the Dead Sea Face Mask. Read more below to see how each of these products work and how my skin looks!

I actually received 3 products from Beauty Haven – Micellar Rosewater, Dead Sea Face mask and Snail Face mask. For this post I’m only showing you guys the 2 products, since I don’t really have the guts to try the Snail Face Mask just yet. When the time comes, I’ll eventually give the Snail face mask a try, but not at the moment.

Anyways, so the Micellar Rosewater is pretty much a micellar water makeup remover. As you might know, I’m a huge fan of micellar water makeup remover and pretty much have been using it in my kit for a while. I love that it does not contain any oil, which means if I make a mistake of if I need to do a quick makeup change, there no oily residue to break out the rest of the makeup.

This Micellar Rosewater also contains hyaluronic acid which helps to hydrates and soothes the skin. This makeup remover also claims to cleanse the skin and clogged pores.

Since the rose water comes in a spray bottle, I have to spritz the water a couple times to a cotton pad. This rose water does remove my makeup pretty well, but it does take a bit of work to remove my brow mousse. It also does not remove my waterproof mascara all that well. Even after I removed all my makeup, when I did an extra sweep for a final cleanse with the Micellar Rosewater, I still found leftover residue of foundation on my skin. So, you’ll definitely need to wash your face with a facial cleanser after you remove your makeup.

Let’s move onto the Dead Sea Minerals Face mask. The first thing you’ll notice is that this face mask comes in a small packets. I love that it comes in a packet like this since it means I can carry in with me on my carry-on or luggage easily when I’m traveling!

I was so surprised to find out that the Dead Sea Minerals Face mask is actually blue! I applied a thin layer all over my face, at first, but since there were still a lot of products in the packet, I ended up slathering this mask on my face using my fingers.

I let the mask dry, it takes about 15-20mins, and after I rinsed it off with warm water. This Dead Sea Minerals face mask supposed to detox, purify and clean your clogged pores & face. I felt my skin feels very clean, less oily, and feels a bit more smoother than before.

The Dead Sea Minerals face mask is not recommended for irritated & sunburn skin, and you should avoid using this on blemishes & pimples.

In conclusion, both are pretty good products, and it works pretty well on my skin. I have yet to notice any significant difference on my skin so far, I probably need to use this regularly to actually see any difference. I definitely will be using these products more often now.
